Library

The Nordost-Bibliothek is a specialized library for the regional history of northern east-central Europe and the history of Germans in and from Russia. The total collection holds about 140,000 units of media.
Most of the books and journals are catalogued in a database available online (German menu / logical combinations).
You may search by author, keywords and title.
If you prefer to use an English menu you'll find it at Union Catalogue Eastern Europe. Write 'nob' at 'Signatures'.

Family Research

The Nordost-Bibliothek can not help with any genealogical research enquiries. We have neither copies of church records nor of official registries or lists of people. We recommend consulting the archives of the location in question or a private company.
